creepy attic wood!!

Finally, I was able to post this painting. The varnish took
FOREVER to dry! Okay, so I thought I would post a pic
of the process(well somewhat). This doesn't have a name
yet, but I'm working on it. It's acrylic on a piece of wood I
found in the attic. (creepy huh!) I trimmed it, sanded it and
stained it. Painted these twins and created a varnish technique
for it. I also hand cut and painted the frame for it. So, this
piece is added to the other handmade and constructed
paintings I've been able to crank out. I love how this one
turned out. It's dark, but if your able to see it up close, you
can see all the tiny detail in the umbrella and props. These
pictures may be a bit dark or blurry, but come on, I'm not
a photographer! lol!! =)
Oh yea, I'm working on a few more right now.
More of a sea theme, I guess. I'll post when I'm through. Enjoy!

Christophe-I really think it did inspire me. It's pretty creepy up there. @-@
Wavey- Yea, it does look wet huh! I have a hard time trying to name them. I guess it's because I have too many names and I can't pick one!
Oh and tomaway doesn't have a Blog, yet! =)

Your work is beautiful! The energy of the cartoons set against the natural woodwork is really something else. I can't believe I'm just discovering it now.

And you work at Nickelodeon too. Im so jealous.
